Ginger's Bar

The wait is finally over...

Come and experience Ginger's Bar.

Glynn Purnell brings a touch of panache to Birmingham's bar culture with the launch of this latest venture, operating alongside the original concept of The Asquith restaurant.

An exquisite cocktail bar and restaurant destination in the heart of Birmingham’s thriving business district and shopping area, Ginger's Bar is an elegant retreat for people to enjoy and unwind.

Ginger's Bar, located on Newhall Street embraces the relaxed vibes of Manhattan. Inspired by Ginger Rogers and Fred Astaire, the decor and ambience is an acknowledgement to the glamour and style experienced in the 1930’s era.

Mixologist and General Manager, Chris Hoy has worked closely with Hoskizaki UK to introduce comprehensive ice technology into Ginger's Bar to further enhance the impressive drinks menu.

Vodka based autumnal tipples or lamb and mint flavoured Sunday roast in a glass will tantalise taste-buds, as will re-mastered classic cocktails with a twist and extraordinary non-alcoholic creations.

Ginger's Bar offers an extensive spirits list, a variety of local ciders, bohemian lagers and award winning cask ales. A fine wine list has been meticulously selected by Julie Tonsgaard, The Asquith and Jean-Benoit Burloux, Purnells.

An aperitif & digestif style list presented and served with period, vintage glassware and accompaniments will be available to customers in The Asquith Restaurant.
