Welcome to Purnell's

Purnell's is a chic, contemporary fine-dining restaurant, awarded its Michelin star in January 2009, located in one of Birmingham city centre's finest conservation areas, close to Colmore Row and St Phillips Cathedral. Set up by Michelin starred Birmingham chef, Glynn Purnell in July 2007, the 45 cover restaurant occupies a Victorian redbrick and terracotta corner building, with large windows on both sides providing plenty of natural light during the day. The restaurant has its own bar and lounge area, for diners only, where a pre-dinner cocktail or after dinner coffee or digestif can be enjoyed on comfortable sofas.   
 
Glynn Purnell’s bold and innovative cooking that has brought him critical acclaim and numerous awards including a Michelin star provides the ultimate gourmet adventures.

The restaurant will accommodate a table of up to 8 diners. The private dining room is available for parties of 7 to 12 diners and should you require a greater number of guests then the restaurant will be available for complete hire.

will be available from 22nd May 2014.

You can purchase a signed copy with a personal dedication, direct from Purnell’s Restaurant.

Please send your name and contact number to crackingyolks@purnellsrestaurant.com and we will contact you to complete the purchase. Your signed book will then be posted to you on 22nd May 2014.

Purnell's Restaurant will be open until the evening of Saturday 19th April. We will then be closed for annual holiday re-opening on the evening of Thursday 1st May.

12 noon - 4.30pm (Last orders 1.30pm)
Tuesday to Saturday dinner
7pm - 1am (Last orders, 9.30pm, licensed until midnight)

Please telephone reception to make a reservation on 0121 212 9799 option 1. Reception is available from 10am on Tuesday to Friday and from 4pm on Saturdays. A voicemail facility is available if your call can not be answered.
Reception is closed on Sundays and Mondays.
